I needed it for a project I was working on for a client that I started in FCP X but they had an early cut they had done in FCExpress. Yes, some things don't translate perfectly but when translating/transferring something this drastically different as far as workflow is concerned I think it does the job. I have read some of the reviews and I think people have been a little harsh on this program.
